Ovation spotlights student success
What started 11 years ago as an innovative event uniting the campus community for academic and creative recognition and activities has morphed into a multi-day extravaganza showcasing the richness and diversity of student success.
This year's Ovation Festival is an 18-day, 13-event series vibrant with activity. The festival began April 12 with a release party for the 2018 edition of BW's annual literary and art journal, The Mill. Other Ovation programs include a student art exhibit, Conservatory of Music and theatre events, Summer Scholars presentations, Jacket Philanthropy Program awards ceremony and more.
On April 26, BW held its Day of Excellence, which included displays, live presentations and performances as well as a coffee house in Marting Lounge, food trucks and a soapbox at Lyceum Square. The culminating program was a campus-wide Honors Award Ceremony that recognized students with scholarships and awards.
